My cutters are sized by area, not length or width. Cutters in the same size category will use about the same amount of dough, though some may be shorter or fatter, and some may be taller and skinnier. See photo example in the listing.
Small cutters are usually between 6" to 6.5" in area. Medium cutters are usually between 7.25" to 7.75" in area. Large cutters are usually between 8.5"-9" in area.
General sizing information on cutters' longest side: • Small round/square cutters tend to be around 3" • Small rectangular cutters tend to be between 3.25-3.5" • Small long or skinny cutters tend to be between 3.75-4"
• Medium round/square cutters tend to be around 3.3" • Medium rectangular cutters tend to be around 3.5-4" • Medium long or skinny cutters tend to be around 4.25-4.75"
• Large round/square cutters tend to be around 3.7" • Large rectangular cutters tend to be 4-4.5" • Large long or skinny cutters tend to be between 4.5-5.5"
